I grew up in Cork in Ireland and decided to pursue my studies at University College Cork, in Commerce International with French. This provided me with the opportunity (along with many others) to develop my French further, and spend an Erasmus year studying in Strasbourg. Following this, I realised my passion for working with people. As HR is a role centred around people, I decided to study a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. This heightened my awareness of the importance of people, to contribute to the success of a company. Having returned to Ireland to complete my studies, I missed the international and French speaking aspect. I had visited Luxembourg and fell in love with the city, and decided to make the move. I contacted DO Recruitment to assist me with finding a job here, and rather than finding a job through the company, I became part of the team. I love the contact with people, and find it very enriching to hear about the different experiences of every person. Even more so, assisting people to find a role and company that they are happy with, is a great source of achievement for me.
