DO Recruitment Advisors is recruiting an OVERSIGHT SPECIALIST, on behalf of one of our clients, an independent asset manager.
·Manage the day- to- day efficient operational functioning of the funds and mandates under management of the ManCo. Liaise with internal parties and external service providers to ensure all related processes run smoothly.
·Provide product information and product development-related support to the Management Company and the investment manager.
·Support the CEO and the conducting officers in all operational/product aspects and related processes.
Your main tasks will be:
·Responsible for day-to-day contacts with service providers related to the administration and custody of the funds and mandates (both UCITS and NON-UCITS). E.g. contacts with depositary banks, fund administrators, transfer agents, auditors and other agents appointed to the funds or mandates.
·Organise/attend regular service meetings with these service providers, maintain a log of issues and follow-up on outstanding action points.
·Rebates & retrocessions:
oMonitor the outsourced process
oEnsure timely and correct payment of retrocessions
oAct as central point of coordination across the group
·Maintain the fund cross-border registration network and support the distributor due diligence process.
·Monitoring and analysis of the costs of the service providers and the impact on the portfolios.
·Ensure the timely production of the funds legal documents including the prospectus, KIIDs, EMT/EPT, annual reports etc.
·Assist the sales department in the completion of questionnaires and RFP documents received from existing or potential clients.
·Work together with the investment manager and other internal functions to ensure smooth, effective and efficient operational functioning of the funds, including coordination from a Luxembourg perspective.
·Assist in documenting product processes and actively highlight anomalies and suggest improvements.
·Assist in the coordination of the relevant Board meetings, ensuring service providers deliver timely and quality reports/materials.
·Monitor regulatory developments from an operational perspective and feedback to the conducting officers on potential impacts including operational changes/improvements to ensure compliance.
·Assist with product launches, closures and restructurings.
·Coordinate projects which improve operational flows, efficiencies and costs.
·You have a University Degree
·At least 3 -5 years of previous experience in a similar role
·English, any other language is an asset
·Team Player and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
