CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER, PORTUGUESE SPEAKER M/F
THE JOB :
DO Recruitment Advisors is currently recruiting an Accounting Manager (m/f) for a global industrial company.
Reporting directly to Chief Financial Officer and with managerial support to the Global Accounting Team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible to handle independently all the activities to meet the objective of full scope accounting area for, monthly, quarterly as well as for full year results. Will be responsible to develop and implement collaborative initiatives, for tackling the complex situations and delivering on time objectives. In addition, performing and developing the financial report under IFRS for Group and under LUX GAAP for local perspective, in compliance with group and local applicable requirements.
Main responsibilities :
– Responsible for processes related to Accounting duties, that includes:
– Manage quarter and annual audit procedures for IFRS and LuxGAAP financial statements;
– Manage communications and information flow between: SSC in Brazil and accounting contractors;
– Monitor accounting transactions and create journal entry requests, including accounts payable, receivables, provisions, payroll and reimbursements;
– Review hedge accounting transactions and the accounting records related to them;
– Gather, organize and archive support documentation for accounting transactions;
– Review journal entries and general accounting routines (e.g. reconciliation) performed by the SSC in Brazil;
– Review of Consolidated IFRS financial information
– Perform GAAP adjustments to produce local financial information (IFRS to LuxGAAP)
– Review of Lux GAAP stand-alone financial information.
– Undertake any other assignments, under Global Accounting Team member.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
– Graduated in Administration or Economics or Accounting
– 7 years post obtaining financial degree actively practising as manager of finance area
– Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese. French is a plus
