LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER (M/F)
THE JOB :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal expert to join the headquarter of an international Group to oversee the legal functions of a group of companies. In addition to managing the legal aspects, the successful candidate will be responsible for administering and operating Luxembourg bank payments and handling corporate documentation. This role also involves managing a full-time office/executive assistant. As this is a newly created position within the organization, there is potential for the role to evolve based on the candidate’s skills and ambitions, extending into broader corporate legal responsibilities across the group.
The responsibilities will include:
Corporate Legal:
-Prepare and review corporate governance documents and reports for the Luxembourg entities.
-Ensure all corporate documentation is updated and complete.
-Draft legal documentation for Board meetings.
-Prepare and maintain Board minutes and related documents.
Stakeholder Communication:
-Collaborate closely with the COO and CFO.
-Liaise with the Compliance Officer.
-Engage with external legal counsel and se;nior management as needed.
-Clearly communicate legal issues and solutions to non-legal staff.
Legal Advisory:
-Provide expert legal advice to senior management and various departments.
-Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
Administrative Duties:
-Manage legal administrative tasks, including client KYC processes and documentation for affiliates.
-Liaise with banks and manage/supervise the payment process.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
-Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
-Relevant experience in Luxembourg corporate law and legal operations.
-Strong knowledge of Luxembourg banking and corporate compliance.
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters to non-legal professionals.
-Fluency in French & English is a must.
-Ability to work independently and manage a small team.
-Strong organizational and administrative skills.
-Working conditions: Full-time position with occasional travel required. This is an office-based position with some flexibility for remote work subject to management approval.
