SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT M/F
DO Recruitment Advisors is recruiting a Senior Corporate Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading international manufacturer & distribution company. The Group’s headquarters are based in Luxembourg city. The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle (A to Z) of the international Supply Chain Finance company (SCF company) in cooperation with different subject matter experts. He or she will handle complex financial data, conduct foreign currency analyses, and be a strong business partner to the Treasury and Credit Manager.
Your main Responsibilities:
– Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports and analyses for management
– Business Partner: create a strong international network within the organization and be a strong business partner to our Treasury and Credit Manager
– Compliance: Ensure compliance with (inter)national regulations, internal procedures and support audits
– Full-cycle Accounting: Oversee the entire daily financial administration of the SCF company (no direct reports)
– Factoring Management: Handle and optimize SCF processes in cooperation with the Global Process Owners Accounting
– Foreign Currency Management: Conduct foreign currency analyses to support treasury in mitigating currency risks
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :
– At least 5 years of experience as an accountant in an international environment, ideally in a commercial or industrial company
– Proven experience in SCF companies, foreign currency management, … are a plus
– Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel. The knowledge of SAP is a plus
– Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to make independent decisions
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
