PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION MANAGER (M-F)
THE JOB :
The Privacy and Data Protection Manager guides and advises clients in the Financial Sector on privacy regulations and best practices. Assessing their current privacy status, identifying gaps, and developing compliance and risk mitigation frameworks, you play a key role in this organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Overseeing privacy assessments, audits, and the development of privacy programs aligned with industry standards.
-Providing expert advice on data governance, managing privacy-related third-party relationships, and ensuring compliance by evaluating and updating data protection frameworks.
-Leading a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and serving as the main contact for staff, regulators, and public authorities.
-Delivering training, maintaining records of data processing, and staying updated on emerging privacy and cybersecurity threats to design proactive risk mitigation strategies.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :
-Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, compliance, computer science, or related field.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in data protection compliance or related field.
-Expertise in data protection laws and practices, with deep understanding of GDPR.
-Strong project management skills.
-Proficient in IT, including MS Office suite.
-Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive, confidential information.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
-Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of French is a plus.
