IN-HOUSE SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT (M/F)
Our client is seeking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to join its accounting team based in Luxembourg. This individual will be responsible for helping produce, review and manage the internal and external financial reporting of the company’s EU investment funds.
THE ROLE:
- Oversee the quarterly financial close and reporting process. This will include liaising with teams across Europe ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Preparation and review of consolidation entries and helping produce fully consolidated financial reports on investment funds under IFRS.
- Maintain NAV calculations and investment performance KPIs such as IRR and Multiple calculations.
- Prepare necessary workpapers to support audit process and liaise with external auditors on issues raised during financial reviews is essential.
- Helping manage external service providers and review their deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare internal reports on key financial metrics for leadership to assist in decision making.
- Assisting with investor inquiries received on financial reports or accounting data.
- Manage capital calls, distributions, intercompany financing and other operational functions.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 3-5 Years in Fund Accounting or Audit is Required
- IFRS & GAAP Knowledge: Strong IFRS background is essential; Lux GAAP and US GAAP familiarity is a plus.
- Consolidation & Real Estate Fund Experience: Highly valued and often a differentiator.
- Knowledge in Excel required. JD Edwards and OneStream a bonus.
- Holding an ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Interpret complex information to identify patterns, draw conclusions, and develop solutions to problems.
- English fluency is required; German, French or Polish is a bonus
