ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT – PRIVATE EQUITY (M/F)
You will have the unique opportunity to create, develop, and manage, becoming a pioneer within the first private equity operations team within the Group.
THE JOB:
- Manage and drive the delivery of the calculated NAV of the structure on a monthly basis.
- Review and finalise the deliverables with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Analyse and account for investment related transactions, including cost, fair value, adjustments, capital, etc.
- Review and approve journal entries and workpapers produced by the team
- Manage and oversee project management tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and reporting activities.
- Coach and develop team members in both Luxembourg and in India
- Act as the technical expert, providing guidance and support to the team on complex accounting issues
- Act as the main point of contact or liaison
- Develop processes, controls and workpapers for the continuous improvement of the operations of the structure
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Equivalent
- At least 8+ years of accounting or audit experience with a major accounting framework (IFRS, US GAAP or LUX GAAP).
- Finance certifications preferred (e.g. CPA, ACCA)
- Strong understanding of partnerships, private equity, and investment management accounting or operations
- Excellent financial analytical, investigation and problem/solving skills
- Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting systems
- Knowledge and understanding of data, Power BI or SIGMA (a plus)
- Ability to stay knowledgeable about, research, and reach well-reasoned conclusions on technical accounting issues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks
- Excellent organization skills and a structured approach
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is compulsory
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to perform under pressure and adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements
