THE JOB:
DO RECRUITMENT ADVISORS is delighted to support this Luxembourg AIFM, with headquarters in the US.
Reporting to the Conducting Officers and the MLRO/CCO&GC of the Luxembourg AIFM, the Senior Compliance Officer will play a key role in supporting the risk and compliance framework of the management company while collaborating closely with the group Legal & Compliance team based in the United States.
Key responsibilities include:
AML/KYC & KYT:
-Act as the primary AIFM contact for investor AML/CFT matters, ensuring effective oversight of onboarding and ongoing monitoring performed by delegated service providers.
-Serve as the main point of contact for portfolio-level AML/KYT matters in line with CSSF Circular 18/698.
-Support and coach global AML/KYC teams handling requests related to Luxembourg entities from investors, portfolio investments and third parties.
Corporate Compliance & Oversight
-Assist the Conducting Officers in maintaining and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Program, annual compliance reporting and other regulatory submissions (including CSSF Circular 15/633, AML/CFT survey, AIFMD Annex IV and related requirements).
-Contribute to the maintenance and periodic update of AIFM policies and procedures.
-Support the oversight of delegated functions through due diligence reviews, collection of KPIs, coordination with service providers and, where relevant, on-site inspections.
Governance & Regulatory Monitoring
-Monitor regulatory developments and conduct gap analyses to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving requirements.
-Support senior management and board-level governance processes, including preparation for meetings and regulatory interactions.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
-4-6 years of relevant experience gained in a Big 4 firm, law firm, private sector financial institution or third-party AIFM environment, with proven ability to exercise commercial oversight and coordination.
-Solid knowledge of the Luxembourg alternative investment regulatory framework, including AML/KYC and delegation oversight.
-Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
-A proactive, self-starting mindset and willingness to take ownership of projects.
-Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is an asset.
-Familiarity with screening tools such as LSEG WorldCheck is a plus.
-Structured, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
-Clear communicator with a collaborative and solution-driven approach.
-High integrity, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
