ACCOUNTANT SPV (M/F)
Our client is seeking to appoint a full-time Experienced Accountant to support the day-to-day finance and corporate administration of a small Luxembourg-based group of companies. The role combines accounting responsibilities with corporate governance and statutory compliance, and involves coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
THE ROLE:
Accounting & Financial Oversight
- Bookkeeping for a portfolio of companies in NetSuite under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS
- Assisting with all aspects of accounting matters, including preparation, reconciliation and review of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and responses to ad-hoc investor queries
- Assisting with the resolution of audit queries
- Preparing periodic bank reconciliation and providing supporting documentation for transactions
- Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting to the Finance Director.
Corporate Administration
- Assist in the management of a portfolio of Luxembourg holding entities (Sàrl, S.A., SPF).
- Prepare and maintain accurate corporate documentation, including articles of association, registers, resolutions, and powers of attorney.
- Draft notices, agendas, minutes, and written resolutions for board and shareholder meetings.
- Organise and coordinate board meetings and general meetings.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Support compliance with Luxembourg legal and regulatory requirements, including contract management.
- Assist with filings to the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register (RCS).
- Monitor statutory deadlines, including annual accounts, annual returns, and publications.
- Support KYC/AML processes and maintain corporate files.
- Maintain corporate registers, support governance, and prepare board materials and minutes.
- Stay up to date on relevant regulations and best practices in corporate governance
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- 2-3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the real estate industry
- Experience managing Luxco (SPV) is considered an asset
- Exposure to corporate governance matters is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP, IFRS is a plus
- Relevant accounting qualification
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and with external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- Fluent in English, German or Polish advantageous
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Detail-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to work independently
