Our
Process

Getting to
know you

For some of the roles that we advertise, we are inundated with applications, and in this age of automation, we too rely on technology, so it can sometimes be impossible to respond individually to everyone who has applied. We only have a small team, so we do ask that if you have not heard from us, please call if there is anything that you would like to discuss, as we appreciate personal contact and it is always nice to talk to our candidates. We are, after all, in the people business.

We may reach out to you or you may approach us, but regardless of who makes the first move, the objective of a meeting with DO Recruitment Advisors is that we get to know one another. It is imperative that we understand you and your career aspirations and you understand how we work and what we are looking for in order that we make that all important recruitment match. It is important for us to get to know the real you so that we can represent you in the best possible way that we can.  A meeting with us generally takes up to one hour and it is in our premises, unless otherwise agreed. Our meetings are friendly, transparent and open and we are there to answer any questions that you might have, so please feel free to use our knowledge and experience.

We might agree to meet on a speculative basis and wait for a suitable role to open in the future. In this case, when an appropriate job opens, we would then make contact with you and disclose details of the job and you would decide whether you would like to pursue this job opportunity or not.

If we already have a suitable job to discuss for your profile, we would look at this during our internal interview.  We divulge all of the information that we have about the job so that you can make an informed decision on whether or not this is the right opportunity for you. If your profile does not entirely suit the job, this is something we discuss with you and will agree together whether or not we send your CV. We only send a very select number of relevant CVs to our client for each job that we work on so our clients know that when they receive a CV from DO Recruitment Advisors, this candidate is totally in line with their expectations and worth meeting. When we send a CV to our client, we attach a candidate report customised to our client’s needs detailing practical elements of importance to them and the reasons why we are recommending this exceptional person.

Our promise of confidentiality

It goes without mentioning that we would never send your CV to a client without your authorisation, so we clearly work based on what you want. We offer a totally confidential and professional service, and you are continually in the loop all through the interview process with our client.

We are one of the founding members of Fr2s and we were instrumental in establishing the code of conduct and framework for this organisation. We have received unparalleled recognition for our professionalism and we operate ethically and with integrity at all times. You can rest assured that your personal information is safe with us, as we adhere to the GDPR at all stages of the process. If you would like us to remove your details from our database at any time, please let us know and we will be pleased to do this. For additional information on this subject, please feel free to consult our privacy policy.
