THE JOB:
As a Business Development and Marketing Advisor, you will play a crucial role in implementing the BDM strategy of the Luxembourg office. You will support the BDM team and work closely with partners and lawyers. This exciting opportunity involves a wide range of business development, marketing, and communications activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Collaborate with BD Manager to shape and implement broader BDM plans that align with the firm’s global strategy.
- Champion and use tools like Salesforce to log and track BD activities, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of critical client information.
- Lead the creation of tailored client-facing materials, ensuring alignment to brand guidelines and pitching best practices.
Marketing
- Oversee the planning and evaluation of in-person and virtual client events such as seminars, webinars, and conferences, including post-event reporting and feedback analysis.
- Assist in maintaining and updating practice and sector-specific content on internal and external platforms, such as lawyer biographies, credentials, and website sections.
- Promote the practice’s profile, ensuring consistency in messaging.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, reporting on outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
Communications
- Provide input into the firm’s internal and external communications, ensuring alignment between business development objectives and communication efforts.
- Support effective internal communication initiatives, contributing to cross-departmental knowledge sharing and promoting BDM best practices.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and marketing, with excellent project management and communication skills. If you are passionate about creating and implementing effective strategies to drive business growth, we would love to hear from you.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Graduated with a degree in Marketing, business development, communication or any related field;
- Ideally 3 to 4 years’ experience in a business development and/or a marketing environment as well as experience in a professional financial services firm or a law firm
- Fluent in English
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Organised and able to manage complex projects that require strong interpersonal skills and critical and analytical thinking
- Knowledge of a variety of client relation management best practices to support the business
- Able to work in a highly demanding/dynamic environment under tight deadlines
- A team player who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a highly cross-functional environment
- Excellent MS Office skills and knowledge of Canva
- Community management experience would be an asset
