DATA GOVERNANCE OFFICER (M/F)
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Data Governance officer to join a thriving and dynamic office looking to revolutionize their data framework. In this pivotal role, you will support the team in the company’s digital transformation, implement and maintain accurate database for the entire company, support strategic initiatives, and enhance decision-making.
THE ROLE
- Act as liaison between Finance, Legal and Compliance, Senior leadership in Luxembourg and Other teams across the organization
- Investigate within the group (interact with relevant teams including Data Governance) to determine full scope of data and work toward a golden source of data across the platform
- Proactively collaborate with Technology and local teams to ensure alignment between business process and data flows to optimize the utilization of data
- Create structured, standard and efficient data catalogue for the company
- Act as the single source of truth for data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across datasets used across all stakeholders
- Oversee the upload and distribution of finalized data to systems and to stakeholders at agreed-upon timelines to ensure seamless integration into downstream processes
- Collaborate with Technology to ensure the quality and security of data processing and playing an active role in documentation
- Develop and implement procedures for effective data management enabling business ability with data & analytics
- Be responsible for the administration of the company data catalogue
- Provide support to end-users and other players involved in data management
- Participate in end-to-end data reporting function (with support of Technology and offshore consultants) for the company
- Work closely with Vice-President responsible for Finance and Regulatory Transformation to define and implement efficient reporting suite utilizing this single source of data; proactively determine the needs of the business and work independently to implement
- Participate in researching and suggesting new systems / software to streamline reporting amongst multiple groups (with support of Technology and offshore consultants)
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, knowledge of investment funds and AIFM regulations being required
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Sigma Computing), comfortable working with data, systems, and technology platforms
- Naturally curious and passionate about solving complex problems
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships across all organizational levels
- A Team player who is detail oriented and possess strong work ethic
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills that facilitate the advancement of various projects
