FUND ACCOUNTANT PE (M/F)
We are delighted to support this prestigious Private equity firm in the recruitment of a Fund Accountant for their Luxembourg AIFM. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join a small but highly professional organisation.The Fund Accountant is responsible for is involved in the accounting and administration of the Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and the administration of the Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). This role reports into the Fund Manager.
THE ROLE:
·Set up and management of complex fund structures in the accounting and reporting software Investran,
·Participate in the investment and/or exit of participations held within Luxembourg structure,
·Carry out the accounting of the AIFs and other investment vehicles,
·Capital calls and distributions, investment and NAV calculation, including all relevant reconciliations,
·Prepare management fee calculation,
·Preparation and distribution of Quarterly reporting, capital calls, distributions to LP investors,
·Interaction with the London team inter alia on Valuations / updates of investment activity / ESG,
·Participate in the pre-deal restriction checks (acquisition/exit) and raise any issue,
·Reporting to the depositary, support reporting to the CSSF,
·Prepare internal reporting to the management and the board of the Luxembourg AIFM,
·Provide support in the administration of the AIFs,
·Support the Fund Managers and Conducting Officers,
·Carry out monthly cash reporting and cash management,
·Liaise with professional service providers: depositary, auditors, banks and tax advisors,
·Follow up investors queries,
·Support tax reporting process,
·Participating in the improvement of processes and procedures to ensure high level of controls are maintained,
·Supportive role in building relationships with Investors.
THE PROFILE:
·University degree or equivalent education background in Accounting or Finance,
·2 to 3 years of relevant experience acquired in the field of Fund Accounting of Private Equity Funds,
·Good knowledge of Lux GAAP Accounting,
·Knowledge of Investran software would be an asset,
·Professional qualification in accounting would be an asset Financially literate and analytical,
·Strong team player, with the ability to work in a small team,
·Positive, proactive approach,
·Resilient to pressure, flexible, proactive, quality-focused and able to multi-task,
·Fluent in English is required, French/or German would be an asset.
