PRIVATE BANKING SUPPORT SPECIALIST (M/F)
THE JOB:
As a Private Banking Support Specialist, you will be a key player in assisting our private banking team in delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. You will be part of the first line of defense in ensuring compliance, effective client servicing, and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Client Support:
oAssist private bankers in managing client accounts and relationships.
oRespond to client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding account statuses, transactions, and services.
oManage client onboarding, AML/KYC documentation, conduct due diligence checks.
oEnsure that client onboarding and ongoing activity comply with the bank’s risk management procedures.
oPrepare and maintain client documentation and records.
Administrative Tasks:
oSchedule appointments and coordinate meetings for private bankers, ensuring efficient use of time.
oManage calendars, including follow-ups and reminders for client meetings.
oPrepare reports and presentations for client meetings and internal discussions.
Transaction Processing:
oFacilitate the processing of account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
oEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during transaction processing.
oAssist in the preparation of client proposals and investment portfolios.
Communication:
oMaintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
oCollaborate with other departments (e.g., compliance, legal, operations) to resolve client issues and provide comprehensive service.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
We are seeking a proactive, well-organized professional with a strong background in private banking support functions and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a client-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and upholds the highest standards of discretion and integrity.
-5-7 years of relevant experience in private banking support, client servicing, or AML/KYC operations within a financial institution in Luxembourg.
-Strong understanding of private banking operations, client onboarding, due diligence (AML/CTF), and MiFID II regulations.
-Experience in the first line of defense, ensuring adherence to compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
-Previous experience in working with high-net-worth clients and managing sensitive client data.
-Excellent knowledge of financial instruments, life insurance wrappers, and fund documentation processes is a plus.
-Fluent in French and English; German or other languages are an asset.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-driven mindset.
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
