SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
THE JOB:
DO Recruitment Advisors are recruiting an Associate Portfolio Accounting of a leading Real Estate Investment firm. Senior Business Analyst to join its Business Transformation Team (BTT) to drive and facilitate organisational change. The BTT is pivotal in spearheading organisational change, fostering innovation and sustainable organisational success through strategic planning, change management, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Develop and maintain visual representations of the organisation’s capabilities and processes, including data flows and how they relate to each other, to provide a view and a common language of the organisation that both business and technology can understand and leverage to facilitate operating model assessments and strategic planning.
·Plan and estimate business analysis tasks, including, but not limited to, requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
·Thoroughly examine business problems and opportunities within the organisation, leveraging systems thinking to identify inefficiencies and gaps and determine changes to address these issues. These changes could involve modifying processes, improving information flow, enhancing technology, or restructuring organisational aspects.
·Support strategic analysis and planning, provide a broader and holistic perspective on change, and assess proposed initiatives’ feasibility and potential impact while considering the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation, ensuring everyone’s perspectives are considered and addressed. Ensure continuous communication and act as a liaison between business and technical teams by planning and facilitating workshops and meetings. Help stakeholders identify problems, understand needs and guide them through the decision-making and change management processes.
·Help define and present business and technical options that address specific business objectives, including the costs, benefits, risks, and impacts of each option, to help senior stakeholders make informed decisions.
·Act as a unifying force in driving organisational change by fostering collaboration across different business functions to break down silos and ensure that transformation efforts are holistic and integrated, maximising their impact across the organisation.
·Support monitoring the performance of change efforts and transformation initiatives, identifying areas for optimisation and realignment.
·Participate in projects and perform BA lifecycle activities, including assist in planning, coordinating, and executing user testing efforts to ensure that solutions meet business needs and user expectations.
·Coach and mentor junior team members to help develop the team’s capability and ensure the effective implementation of business analysis practices within the organisation
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
·Proven experience of at least 5+ years as a Business Analyst and in standard business analysis techniques and tools in the following areas: Environment and Strategy Analysis, Business Modelling, Feasibility Assessment, Change Management, Benefits Management, Data Modelling, Requirements Elicitation, Analysis & Modelling and Process Analysis.
·Ability to apply systems thinking to build an accurate and holistic understanding of the business’s needs and develop well-rounded, actionable strategies and proposed solutions.
·Ability to think strategically and propose solutions to business problems or opportunities in line with the organisation’s strategic context.
·Ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and negotiate effectively, balancing business needs and requirements with technical feasibility.
·Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.
·Knowledge of business process modelling and reengineering.
·Professional certification in Business Analysis from the British Computer Society (BSC) or the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
·Master Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
